Fausto Puglisi played with bold colouring; the collection an ode to Madonna as the models walked out on the catwalk to her soundtrack. Varsity jackets, leather boots and big belt buckles hinted at a bit of a cowgirl vibe…

La Party Eyes at Faust Puglisi. Makeup was keyed by Val Garland who described this look as “A girl that has been out dancing all night in LA”.

Alberta Ferretti’s collection of silk, soft pastel tones and floral to die for was totally dreamy. It has a sensual mood that oozed flowing evening and nightwear that we all want for ourselves.

The makeup was “Girls in the morning after a night out”. Designed by Diane Kendal, who gave the girls smudged black kohl eyes and flush clean skin. The hair was definition of bed head; greasy at the roots, messy in a half-up style.

GUCCI

Gucci
Gucci’s style was loud and eccentric, with incredible detailing. Puffed shoulders were a popular theme, combined with sheer netting and sequins. The big yellow shaggy guy coat evoked a 70’s theme with tinted sunglasses and a headscarf.

This season, designer Antonio Marras took inspiration from the story of Adele Hugo; who was the child of a writer, she she developed schizophrenia as a young woman, and led to a romantic obsessed with a British military officer who rejected her…

The makeup was also inspired by Adele’s story; described by Tom Pecheux as “Innocence to passion to madness” with a soft matte lip with red under the eyes and pale skin. Even the nails were adorned with flowers for a pop-out look.
