There was a period last year when every beauty product I encountered was a multi-tasker. I felt exhausted by the BB creams that promised much and delivered little. I felt a little exhausted by them.
I have happily rediscovered the Murad Hybrids. My first encounter was the lovely Skin Protecting Primer with Blemish and Shine Control.
It’s like putting your face in a silk stocking. Gorgeously textured, it evens out the skin tone and blends out blemishes while at the same time working on overall skin health.
You can use it under foundation. If you do it enhances whatever foundation you wear it with. Or you can wear it on its own if you want a light overall glow that evens out skin tone, which I’ve been doing.
It also promises to minimise the appearance of pores as well as shine. It has a nice matt finish and has probiotic complex to promote resistance to harmful bacteria.
I have also rediscovered Murad’s Absolute Bronzing Boost SPF. Another two in one it’s a bronzing treatment which offers sun protection. What I love about this is the naturally bronze tinged colour.
It has a wonderful silky matt texture which blends beautifully into the skin. I used it where I had ugly red sunburn. It transformed the redness into golden and protected any further disasters. I love the texture of it with its firming and conditioning agents. It has an almost undetectable smell which I would describe as a hint of freshly laundered silk. Feels good.
