Gwyneth Paltrow’s “goop” has come a long way since getting its start in 2008 in Paltrow’s kitchen. The idea was to create a site that offered the best advice, products, health-centric recipes, all tested out by Paltrow or her contributors. Now, Goop has grown into a household name, at least amongst us health and lifestyle nuts (no shame!).
Now Goop has become so successful, sending newsletters from Paltrow to its email list every Thursday, the company has decided to expand. Already well established, is the Organic skin-care line, goop by Juice Beauty.
The next endeavor that we adore: the goop clothing line. Just released today: goop Label Edition 06. A new collection comes out monthly, and each “edition” has a common theme amongst the pieces. This months: “Power of Three.” This month focuses on suit separates, featuring the Sam Double-Breasted Blazer ($595), the Sonya Poplin Button Down ($195), and the Dylan Stretch Leggings ($225).
What we like about each month’s goop Label, is that it is very much quality over quantity. On her site, Paltrow writes, “Blink and it’s gone,” meaning each collection is a handful of pieces, in limited runs, released once a month, and only on goop. This month’s collection focuses on clean cuts and styles, and shades of black and white. Plain and simple, but completely stylish for both office and everyday life.
