Looking for some new restaurants to try around the city? We’ve gathered up a list of some of the new ones so you won’t have to.
Pi Pizza Battersea
Pi brought its top-secret dough recipe into London along with their favourite tasty toppings. The vibrant restaurant is a bright and fun addition to Battersea Rise in Southwest London. The ingredients are organic and fresh, and you can pimp out any pizza with a ball of Bufala Mozzarella. To complement the pizza, they have small plates, salads, and cocktails–even a Smoked Chocolate Manhattan.
G’rilla
Take the grilled cheese sarnie up a notch at G’rilla. The menu has toasties with barbecue, ham, corned beef, and mac n cheese, so this is the perfect place to expand your usual sarnie tastes! Just outside of Victoria station, this is the place to go. The food stand just opened up in late February, and it looks like the perfect place to make a quick lunch stop!
What the Pitta
Located in Camden, the already loved menu is now available at a permanent restaurant. Follow the vegan movement to What the Pitta and try their soya kebabs cooked in a Middle Eastern blend of spices tucked into a pitta with homemade hummus, tzatziki, and salad.
Fortitude Bakehouse
Try a twist on your sweets with fermented treats from Fortitude. With sourdough cake, you’re already guaranteed something different when you arrive to place your first order. Their flavors include fermented barabrith with honey and black tea, lemon, yoghurt, poppy seed sourdough, squash, cardamom, pumpkin seed, chia cake, buckwheat, vanilla cream sable biscuit, lemon, rosewater, pistachio buns, and apple and thyme crumbles with chestnut flour. Bloomsbury is stepping up their dessert game!
