When French fashion designer Thierry Mugler thinks of women, he imagines a powerful instinct that garners strength and an aura of femininity. Impressed by a woman’s intuition, Mugler took that magical strength and put it in a bottle with his latest fragrance, Aura Mugler.
After seeing a bottle of Aura Mugler, I was instantly intrigued. Sculpted by an artist, the fragrance comes in a deep green glass heart with a metal M as the cap. It’s luxurious yet unique, and is art in itself. Inside is a scent that is at first powerful, then sparkling. Tiger Liana makes up the majority of the fragrance, a sharp and smoky smell that makes for a deep almond scent. Behind that is Rhubarb Leaf, which adds a fruity mix with its crisp smell. The three overall scent categories that make up the perfume are oriental, botanical and carnal. We can’t wait to see if we can smell our own female aura inside.
To celebrate the fragrance launch, the brand will also have a bespoke Snapchat filter tomorrow, Friday 14th July 2017, so make sure you don’t miss it!
