Inspired by her favorite flowers and colours in her garden, rose, lily of the valley, and tuberose, Tory Burch is releasing her first fragrance collection this upcoming May called Jolie Fleur. Each fragrance is meant to capture a distinct element of Tory’s style. Rose is feminine and romantic, Verte is tomboyish and easygoing, and Bleue is elegant and understated. We love the variety of the scents in the collection, as well as the classic Tory touches like the enamel accented bottles and fretwork cap.
As for the actual scents of the fragrances, Tory kept the top notes as fresh as her garden. Jolie Fleur Bleue, modeled after tuberose, captures the scent of the flower and is paired with crisp grapefruit, soft sandalwood and earthy vetiver. Jolie Fleur Verte encapsulates the crisp and fresh scent of lily of the valley, mixed with hints of jasmine, mandarin, and neroli oil. Jolie Fleur Rose captures the romance of roses with a feminine blend of fresh tea rose, romantic cashmeran and musk.
We were lucky enough to be sent the fragrances early along with these gorgeous floral arrangements set in the perfume bottles themselves, how perfect for spring! Each one of us in the office had our favorite scents and arrangements, mine was Jolie Fleur Blue with its grapefruit and sandalwood accents, so delicious.
