Hot Pursuit stars Oscar-winning Reese Witherspoon as a police officer tasked with escorting the key witness in a case against a drug cartel lieutenant, played by Sofia Vergara, which leads to a chase across Texas as the lieutenant’s hired gunmen try to kill her. It’s directed by Anne Fletcher (The Proposal, The Guilt Trip), so the humour is both witty and on point.
