From director Luc Besson comes a sci-fi drama that will have you on the edge of your seats. Lucy becomes accidentally embroiled in a plot to smuggle drugs. She wakes up with a bandage around her midriff, only to be told that she has been implanted with these new drugs, and informed that her life depends on her getting them to their destination.
The tables are turned, however, when the drugs begin leaking within her and powering her brain to function at rates far beyond those of a human. She seeks out Morgan Freeman’s character who has been studying the possibilities of human neurological functions, and asks him for help.
