It seems that Disney are getting into the sporting swing of things. Last year they brought us Million Dollar Arm, and this year we’ll be looking forward to McFarland, USA. Kevin Costner stars as the new coach in this true story about a poor California town and its mostly Latino students. He sets about turning them all into a track team that can go all the way. It’s got the feel good factor in bucket loads. For a heartwarming easy watch that will make you want to hug someone once the lights come up, this is the one.
McFarland, USA hits cinemas stateside on 20th February but we’re yet to hear about a UK release date, so stay tuned! In the meantime catch the trailer below.
