A lonely college freshman’s life is turned upside down by her adventurous soon-to-be stepsister.
Mistress America is the story of Tracy (Lola Kirke) the isolated college freshman in New York; not enjoying her University experience to the full, nor the glamorous metropolitan lifestyle she envisioned.
She is taken in by her soon-to-be stepsister, Brooke (Greta Gerwig) a bold, audacious Times Square girl; and Tracy is rescued from her disappointment and seduced by Brooke’s alluringly wacky and crazy schemes.
