If you’re planning on getting a peaceful sleep tonight, do not continue reading this.
The new trailer for My Friend Dahmer is here, and it’s just as absolutely terrifying as you’d think it is.
If you’re completely clueless, the infamous Jeffrey Dahmer was an American serial killer that murdered 17 men/boys from 1978-1991. He’s best known in the states as the Milwaukee Cannibal for his dismemberment of his victims. So naturally, the film is going to be totally creepy. It’s based on the graphic novel by Derf Backderf, who was friends with Dahmer back in high school in Ohio. Derf is played by Alex Wolff.
In the trailer, we see Dahmer, played by Disney Channel star Ross Lynch, as an outsider in school that falls victim to bullying. He dons the typical thin-rimmed glasses and is seen in multiple scenes staring angrily into the distance. It even shows clips of Dahmer causing scenes in the halls, and hoarding bones in his basement. Disturbing.

But at the same time, the trailer draws in your curiosity. As eerie as it looks, I can’t wait to see how things play out.
My Friend Dahmer will be released in UK cinemas this fall. Watch the trailer below, and prepare to be totally spooked.
