After a yearlong wait, get ready to spend your Halloween indoors binge watching Netflix because Stranger Things is back.

During season 1 we watched as Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) creepily disappeared and his three young best friends – Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) – and his mom (Winona Ryder), set out to hunt him down. They run into a mysterious girl with a shaved head named Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) with telepathic powers who decides to help. Along the journey, the kids uncover terrifying supernatural forces and powers that all come together in the end.

The much-anticipated second season will pick up where it left off in 1984 in the city of Hawkins, Indiana where the citizens are still in a frenzy after the horrors of the Demogorgon and Hawkins Lab. Will was finally rescued from the Upside Down and returned to his normal life, but the effects still have him reeling. And now more than ever, a larger sinister entity is lurking and is bound to be a threat to those who survived. The poster teases something huge with the main characters all eerily staring up at something ominous in the sky. Yikes.

The sci-fi drama was an enormous global hit, winning multiple awards with people falling in love with both the plot and the kid stars. We can’t wait to see what supernatural mysteries will unfold this time. But for now, all we have to watch is the trailer below.
Stranger Things 2 will launch globally on Netflix on 27th October.
