Inspired by true events, The Revenant is the story of one man’s epic adventure of survival.
In an expedition of the uncharted American wilderness, legendary explorer Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio), is brutally attacked by a bear and left for dead by members from his own hunting team.In an ultimate quest for survival, Glass endures unimaginable grief as well as betrayal from his confidant John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy).
Guided by sheer will and the love of his family, Glass endures unimaginable hardships as he navigates a vicious winter in a relentless quest to live and find redemption. Determined to make it home to his family, Glass must use sheer will to survive against all odds.
The Revenant is directed and co-written by renowned filmmaker, Academy Award-winner Alejandro González Iñárritu (Birdman, Babel).
