Pierre Niney stars as Yves Saint Laurent in this French biographical movie directed by Jalil Lespert and co written with Jacques Fieschi, Jérémie Guez and Marie-Pierre Huster. The film kicks off in 1958 with Yves Saint Laurent heading up Dior whilst his age and experience in the fashion industry is questioned.
The film follows the designer’s journey to fashion fame, as he and Pierre Bergé grow closer as he makes a name for himself and his brand. Watch the trailer below.
