For other fashion and celebrity-obsessed girls such as myself, New York Fashion Week rivals Christmas as “the most wonderful time of the year.” Not only are the most covetable designers’ latest treasures on full display, but also the stars who can actually afford to wear the pieces. *Cough cough JEALOUS cough cough*
Victoria Beckham was spotted out and about on Monday in New York City after presenting her lovely Spring 2015 collection, where she was accompanied by her husband David, eldest son Brooklyn, as well as US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Sporting an uncharacteristically bright and girly frock, Victoria accessorized with Ray-Ban’s and chunky heels from her own line. Mrs. Beckham’s Pretty in Pink moment is an unexpected, yet refreshing departure from her signature, tailored-to-perfection ensembles, mirrored in her incorporation of floral print among more simple silhouettes in her latest collection. Fingers crossed that equally stylish 3-year-old daughter Harper is seen in a miniature version very soon.

Kendall Jenner is rapidly proving that her famous last name isn’t all she has going for her, landing acclaimed runway gigs with designers like Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, and Chanel. On Sunday, Kendall was spotted walking for Diane Von Furstenberg, in a chic black and white check mini with white crochet lace overlay, paired with matching ankle strap heels. The next day at Tommy Hilfiger, Jenner modeled a red scalloped bikini as well as a sheer, red, white and blue star-print dress fit for Coachella. Later that day she made her way over to the Donna Karan runway, where she walked in a blood orange boat neck top, printed tea length skirt, and matching orange sandals alongside supermodel Karlie Kloss.

The turnout for Alexander Wang’s show on Saturday was certainly impressive, with stars including Rihanna and Nicki Minaj sitting front row. Stars continued to support the designer well into the evening, with celebs including Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Miley Cyrus attending Wang’s New York Fashion Week after party. Kendall and Kylie were spotted leaving in coordinating outfits, both featuring white, black leather and denim accents. However in typical Miley fashion, Miss Cyrus generated the most buzz, not necessarily for what she was wearing, but for how little. Miley was snapped sporting ice cream cone-shaped pasties, high-waisted pants, pill-bedazzled cat eye sunglasses, marijuana-leaf earrings, and of course, body glitter. If there’s one thing we can count on Miley for, it’s being predictably unpredictable.
