The world of music suffered another major loss this week as soul legend and iconic pop singer Prince tragically died on Thursday at the age of fifty-seven. Tributes have been pouring in on the internet and through social media, and we are here at the BATD headquarters with the radio blasting out Prince today in memory of the magnificent star.
The New Yorker magazine are another publication to dedicate their love and legacy to the inspirational man, who we know will remain with us for a very, very long time. Their cover for next week’s issue, Bob Staake’s “Purple Rain” is a tribute to the great performer.
