Nike has, once again, teamed up with Liberty of London to release their largest collection of trainers featuring Liberty’s iconic vintage fabrics. The collaboration, available from April 1st, features 12 new pairs of Nike’s popular Skinny Dunk, Blazer and Air Force One styles created in a range of the infamous – and rather gorgeous – Liberty floral prints. Having trawled through all 43,000 unique prints in Liberty’s archives, the collection includes graphic bold florals, geometric prints and the signature Liberty ditsy prints florals in perfect pastel colourways – plus a suitably on-trend ’40s wartime airplane print which we have already set our sights on.
The collection also sees the release of an entirely new Nike silhouette, The Moc Chukka Sandal, which has yet to be unveiled but will be exclusive to Liberty London – and no doubt a sell out.
As one of our fashion favourites (our 2008 purchases are still going strong)- fusing some of the most iconic Nike styles from their 39 year sporting heritage with the timeless elegance of Liberty’s covetable fabrics, we can guarantee that one pair simply won’t suffice.
Prices range from £65-£80 and will be exclusively available at Liberty London from April 1, before hitting selected Office stores from May 1. #makeitcount
