Moon Juice got its start back in 2011, when chef and sustainable lifestyle leader Amanda Chantal Bacon opened the first location in Venice, California. The initial idea behind it was to create products that improve daily nourishment, and eliminate toxins and oxidization from the body. Six years later, there are now three Moon Juice locations in California, as well as the website, that offer a long list of products that range from aphrodisiac aids, stress relievers, to thyroid and adrenal support. You can even search the website by “benefit” to find exactly what you’re looking for. We love the look of their Beauty Dust, Brain Dust & Sex Dust…we want to add these to our smoothies to enhance our energy and spirit.
Don’t let the name fool you, Moon Juice does not make only that, though they do offer a broad range of fresh pressed juices. They also offer milks, snacks, and powders made from raw vegetables, fruits, petals, herbs, roots, and seaweeds. Categories of product include Moon Dusts, Moon Pantry, Plant Protein, Cosmic Provisions, Apothecary, and more.
Each product is crafted and produced by hand in small batches, and as often as possible, the ingredients are sourced from local organic farmers. Moon Juice is made by hydraulically cold pressing vegetables, fruits, and herbs into beneficial concoctions. One bottle of Moon Juice alone contains three pounds of raw, organic fruits, vegetables and herbs.
Moon Juice has been mentioned by a number of magazines and media outlets, including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Goop, The New York Times, and Wall Street Journal, just to name a few. International shipping is available, though for now juices, milks and other products that require refrigeration are only available locally.
