The Olivier Awards have announced their hosts of 2014, one who shot to fame as head girl at St Trinians, the other who kept us giggling with his role on Green Wing, Gemma Arterton and Stephen Mangan. Previous Olivier Award winner Julie Walters will be providing the voiceover for the event, so the audience will be kept entertained by a fairly star-spangled bunch.
The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday 13th April at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, as well as the highlights being available to view on ITV later that same evening.
Both Gemma Arterton and Stephen Mangan have enjoyed success on the stage this year. Stephen has kept with his comedy talents as Bertie Wooster alongside Matthew Macfadyan’s Jeeves in Jeeves & Wooster, whilst Gemma, it has been announced, will star in new musical Made In Dagenham this autumn.
