Omorovicza is one of my favourite skincare brands. There are so many hero products. I am seduced by it. I learn to love and then not be able to live without one item and then I find another. I love the Thermal Cleansing Balm. It’s gentle but provides cleansing radiance. I love the Rose Lifting Serum. Your skin doesn’t just smell like roses, it really does lift. I’m obsessed with the Gold Night Drops that undo the days damage while you sleep and you wake up with super hydrated, plumped up skin like a magic potion. Whenever I’m doing a flight I like to pack my face with an Ultramoor Mud Mask. I first started using it because it miraculously defined facial contours which I always found puffed out during flights when your skin sags and drops. It has all the benefits of amazing Hungarian Moor Mud, alongside calcium and magnesium proven to accelerate healing and as flights do the very opposite, I like to make sure I’m fully prepared.
Omorovicza is a luxury brand but by this I don’t just mean it has a high end price tag, I mean it makes your skin feel luxurious. The range harnesses the mineral rich waters of Hungary which are packed with potent anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatories, with a state of the art delivery system. I’ve now come across one of the stalwarts of the brand – the Queen of Hungary Mist. I can’t believe it’s existed without me knowing about it or indeed I’ve existed without it. It takes its name that this was once a Queen of Hungary perfume and it smells of neroli and rose.
The Queen of Hungary allegedly created the world’s first perfume in the 14th century using neroli and rose. But this is not just something that’s hydrating and smells nice. A spritz of this and you feel uplifted from the inside out. Your skin feels alive. They say it’s a midday pick me up or a post cleanse toner but since I’ve been introduced to it I use it all the time. It’s like an espresso for the face. No, maybe not, because you can’t drink too much espresso but your skin can drink this all day long and feel invigorated. When you’re tired your skin looks dull. Once you’ve been spritzed in this it gives you a kind of rested radiance. I’ve added it to my ‘can’t travel without’ because there’s a new travel size complete with beautiful peacock motif on the bottle for only £25.
I’ve read extensively about the damage of long haul or even short haul flights on the body and I can only say from personal experience it’s a skin killer. The Queen of Hungary Mist is the most important weapon in the armoury to fight this and its benefits aren’t just in the sky. It’s a work day, weekend day, night time, morning time, all the time cocktail for the skin that makes it very happy. Regular size £48.
