OUR FAVOURITE LOOKS FROM THE GRAMMYS 2015

February 9, 2015

Rihanna.
Rihanna.

Rihanna’s Giambattista Vialli dress was a couture gown? No kidding. Rihanna was always going to go all out for the Grammys, but we couldn’t have guessed she’d go all Fairy Godmother on us.

Sam Smith.
Sam Smith.

Sam Smith may have been beaten by the underdog in the Best Album category, but in the dapper stakes, he scooped the trophy. He also won our hearts when, in his acceptance speech, he wryly thanked his ex for inspiring many of the songs in his hit album The Lonely Hour. If you’ve listened to those songs as much as we have, you’ll know they’re not a happy jig a minute.

Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift.

We’re pretty sure Taylor Swift couldn’t disappoint us if she tried. We’re not sure her Elie Saab dress makes it to the top of our Taylor looks lust list, but she looks stunning none the less. Those Giuseppe Zanottie heels, however, are a must-have.

Katy Perry.
Katy Perry.

Psst! Want to hear a not-so-secret-secret? See Katy Perry’s lavender look? It’s a wig. We were shocked too…and very much in need of this wig designer’s number! Zuhair Murad is the name behind her sparkling dress.

Madonna.
Madonna.

Now Madonna. She’d certainly set her sights on the headlines that night. We’re not sure this is quite what Riccardo Tisci had in mind when he designed the line for Givenchy Couture, but her stunt has got him some serious coverage. More coverage than Madonna was wearing that night, that’s for sure.

Miley Cyrus.
Miley Cyrus.

We were so impressed with Miley’s get-up, we could have hugged her. She looked sleek and sophisticated in an Alexandre Vauthier cut-out dress. It was edgy enough to have serious Grammys cache, and yet somehow it looks like a classic.

Gwen Stefani.
Gwen Stefani.

Gwen Stefani sported an intricate Atelier Versace jumpsuit, and let that do all the talking, ditching her signature red lip for a greyish nude tone. We love it. White blonde hair and a black graphic couture one-piece…it’s a drastic trend to dabble in. Do it if you dare.
