Okay we’ll admit. We aren’t the first to reach out for face wipes here at the BATD headquarters, but we know the deal. Sometimes, yes sometimes; you’re tired, it’s super late, maybe you’ve been out and had a few and just… can’t bring yourself to do the double wash, cleanse, serum and moisturiser routine. Although we cringe at the thought of sleeping in ANY makeup we can allow whipping out a trusty face wipe once or twice. But not just any old wipes, oh no.
In actual fact, we think that wipes can be extremely useful travel companions and also best used to gently removing that last bit of excess eye makeup – especially mascara. Trying to do so with a fluffy, thick cotton pad soaked with our makeup remover can sometimes be a bit tricky, and can result in tons of product in your eyes. Noticed that too? Instead of relying on a wipe to remove the whole lot (which we wouldn’t recommend) using a wipe as a little extra within your normal routine, could make your life a hell of a lot easier. Especially now that chunky lashes are in, there’s a lot to get off these days…

To coincide with their cult makeup remover, Take The Day Off; Clinique have gone to an extra level of releasing a Micellar technology wipe version of the stuff!
