It feels like such a long time coming but finally, it’s out this Friday 19th May – King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, starring Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, Eric Bana, Annabelle Wallis and Poppy Delevingne.
The Guy Ritchie directed film, follows the story of Arthur. When he was just a child, Arthur’s father meets a brutal death as he is murdered by Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur’s uncle who in turn seizes the crown.
After having his birthright (the crown) stolen from him by his evil uncle, Arthur is forced to learn the ropes in the back alleys on the city in order to survive. But he eventually meets his true faith as he pulls the sword from the stone, forced to acknowledge his true legacy… whether he likes it or not.
