Sky has released the first look at new series, Patrick Melrose, starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
The new five part-comedy/drama is adapted from the acclaimed semi-autobiographical novels by Edward St Aubyn and will tell the story of Melrose (played by Cumberbatch), from his deeply traumatic childhood to adult substance abuse and then his recovery. The series will show Melrose in the 60’s in France, New York in the 80’s and the UK in the early 90’s.
Each episode will be dedicated to one of the five Patrick Melrose novels.
The series will be available in the UK on Sky Atlantic and TV streaming service NOW TV later this year.
