Art icon and collector, Peggy Guggenheim gave what was to become the last interview of her life in the late 1970’s. The tapes were thought to be lost – but now, the never heard before footage has been discovered.
The documentary of the unbelievable life of one of the most vibrant figures in modern art has made its way to film, reporting on her fascinating and colourful life within the art industry.

Her career as a socialite, collector and patron of the arts made her become one of the central figures of 20th century art. She established galleries in London, New York and Venice where her museum still stands containing the last collection she put together.
Lisa Vreeland’s film creates a multi-layered portrait of Guggenheim, with interviews and insight into the woman herself.
A more personal picture is painted as the documentary also delves into her trysts, affairs and marriages with well known figures including Max Earnst and Marcel Duchamp…
Described as ‘a stunning, delightful character study’ of one of the most powerful women in the history of the art world.
