PFW AW16 UPDATE

It’s day three of Paris Fashion Week and since the shows started – we can’t keep our eyes off the constant newsflashes that come up each and every time a show ends – where we get to see all the beautiful action both backstage and on the catwalk. Here are a few more that stood out for us here at Beauty and the Dirt:

Rochas

“Airy and fresh” was the description from Rochas’ AW16 collection – with muted tones of autumnal greens, mustard, violets with caramel and pastel blues took up most of the colour palette. Feminine floral patterns made their way up flowing gown in clusters, embellished in sequins and among ruffles.

Vionnet

Makeup
We loved the simple yet effective makeup for Vionnet – models were adorned with gold accenting on the eye and lip contours, using liquid eyeliners.

Vionnet embraced its traditional signature style of draping, evening gowns and playing with the contours of the body. Straight lines, cut-out asymmetrical tops and dresses were pleated to perfection with flowing chiffon attached to tuxedo-style tailoring. The colour palette consisted of pinks, reds and black – with hints of light blues.

Chloé

Chloé
Chloé showcased its gorgeously dreamy, flowing collection this morning; it was a texture orchestra with plenty of movement. The pastel tones added warmth and lightness float over the models’ bodies, with tired texture to create intricate layering.  Tasseled tapestry knits and hints of biker cuts also made up the collection amongst the flowing gowns; in keeping with the brands’ principles of freedom, lightness and femininity.
