Fashion designer Phillip Lim has created his very own comic book, entitled Kill The Night. Inspired by his autumn winter 2012 collection which was heavily influenced by the “”neo-noir heroines” of the famous, and darkly animated, comics such as Sin City and V for Vendetta.
The Phillip Lim brand have announced that, “The comic book became the natural medium to tell this story, a story of duality and metamorphosis, day and night, black and white, love and betrayal. Things are not what they seem. Look again.”
The comic, illustrated by artist Jan Duursema – famous for creating the Star Wars series, and co-written by American comic veteran John Ostrander, will launch on September 6th to coincide with the launch of Lim’s collection and Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out.
