During my childhood, being driven out to the countryside for an afternoon of strawberry picking was a true signifier that summer was on its way. Weaving in between the hedgerows plucking the biggest, juiciest fruits and popping them into wicker baskets, with the occasional one accidentally ending up in your mouth and heading home clothes slicked with strawberry stains. It was pure, clean British fun. And for just 3 days from Wednesday 11 July, Bloom London Dry Gin, will be recreating the same sense of summer time serenity with a calm-inducing pop up in the middle of Soho.
For the Pick Your Own experience, in association with the National Farmer’s Union, you’ll be invited to pick your own strawberries which will then be transformed into a Bloom Strawberry Gin and Tonic by the professional bartenders.
