Polpo Smithfield, the sixth restaurant from the super successful Russell Norman and Richard Beatty, opens today.
Continuing the winning formula of delicious Italian small-plates, with bar dining, traditional restaurant seating for 70 covers and half a dozen outside tables, Polpo Smithfield will also house a dedicated Negroni Bar in the basement.
Reservations will be taken for dining between noon and 5pm. After that it will be first come first serve. And for the launch, today and tomorrow the restaurant are offering a generous 50% off food and drink, and although both lunches are booked up head down there early for a chance of a table at dinner.
