Not only does Glastonbury attract a whole range of A-list models, singers, and actors from the likes of Kate Moss, Poppy and Cara Delevingne to Solange Knowles, Stella McCartney and more, but even Prince Harry made a royally-appreciated appearance this year.
Unsure as to whether it was the once-in-a-lifetime chance to see The Rolling Stone headline, the all-day-all-night party atmosphere or the attendance of his girlfriend (Cressida Bonas) that lured the royal in – we can only assume that Harry is perfectly suited to the Glasto-vibe. Notorious for his desire to have a good time, according to reports Prince Harry did just that – until the wee hours.
The young royal was spotted enjoying The Rolling Stones from behind the stage, claiming that the English rock band had been the festival’s best-ever headliners.
The first-time Glastonbury performers undoubtedly stole the show with 100,000 fans patiently waiting for the Stone’s to take the stage. And it was well worth it, according to the Prince.
Although Harry managed to craftily avoid cameras throughout the night, Cressida was not so lucky. She was photographed wearing a white vest beneath ripped denim dungarees and sporting lime green sunnies whilst buying food just a short while before meeting up with Harry. And whilst the prince may have got down and dirty alongside the rest of the festival-goers, there was no shortage of royal treatment as his wrists bore the evidence of VIP passes, backstage coloured bands and we’re pretty sure a quick helicopter ride out of the campsite come dawn.
