I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Raymond Blanc’s cookery school to try out their new canapé class, it’s the perfect short course to up the ante of your entertaining at home skills! We watched head tutor Mark Peregrine seamlessly prep all the different small morsels of deliciousness in a way that showed how simple is was to prepare in advance, freeze and be ready for your event without all the panic on the night. One of the most simple dishes was rosemary and parmesan popcorn, super easy and tasted so good!
We all picked up so many handy tips and tricks straight from a two Michelin starred kitchen, Mark made the learning really fun and helped us with all our own cooking dilemmas. It’s really informal and so friendly, we felt so happy in our kitchen classroom they had to politely ask us to move on, as we proudly sat by our slate plate of canapés we’d made ourselves. I’m convinced all of us are going to go home and try out a few of them, absolutely delicious and not complicated this course will suit wannabe chefs and cooks of all levels.
There’s so many courses running at Le Manoir you can pick something that really appeals to you and your level of skill set too, I’d really recommend booking early for this one, as it’s perfect for Christmas parties and they are limiting them to two dates so far.
