Burberry have released a limited edition make-up collection for the festive season. This collection consists of a gorgeous rich, glossy red lip and nail colour, which are complemented by illuminating golden eye colours and shimmering accents.
This is the most classic red ever. Obviously they HAD to be tried on together; and they match perfectly. Both are an absolute must for your Christmas outfits whether it be an office party or a night out on the town – matching nails and lips are just divine.
The Burberry Kisses Military Red Gloss (£21) is their iconic shade, and a brilliant formula. It coats on smoothly and is a non-sticky texture, giving a mirror-like shine. I have no lip liner in this photo, which just shows you the density of this gloss. The coverage is variable – you can coat on to get full, bold red coverage – or just a little dab for a stain which is just as pretty. You just know even once the gloss has worn off, it’ll leave your lips behind with a sexy tint.
The Burberry Nail Polish in Military Red (£15) applies easily with their wide applicator brush (which I love) and even one coat does the trick. But as it dried quickly I popped two on for good measure and the colour is bold, shiny and bright.
The Burberry Gold Glow Fragranced Illuminating Powder (£45) comes with notes of My Burberry, the new fragrance for women. This shade is quite subtle but universally flatters all skin tones, giving a soft radiance. It highlights in the most natural way, with hints of gold and gives a smooth texture. I popped a little on the tops of my cheekbones to give a glowy finish to my makeup.
