DryBy London is a new blow dry and nail art studio, located in W1, just off Regent Street and next door to my second home Psycle.
Founded by two sisters, Anita and Krisztina from Hungary; DryBy took inspiration from the super cool blow dry bars and nail art studios of New York, bringing both services under one roof. The girls grew up in Budapest, where regular spa visits are a part of a woman’s everyday beauty ritual and where going to beauty school means spending years learning how to do treatments properly with care, hygiene and skill.
“We’re creating a brand that challenges the current services out there. DryBy is made for modern women’s busy lifestyles. It’s all about what great hair and nails do for a woman’s confidence and how that is reflected in her mood. It’s a service that we love to use ourselves, something that feels relevant, smart and inclusive.“

Their studio is a lovely spot, it provides a serene, very stylish but still very comfortable hideaway from Oxford Street and is a total getaway if you have the time to spend having a few treatments. Perfect for anyone who wants to take a little time in the day just for themselves, you’ll leave feeling re-charged as well as looking better.
I went in at the weekend for a regular pedicure, they do Shellac too if you prefer, for me a good pedicure lasts long enough, I save the Shellac for my nails. There is an excellent selection of nail colours to chose from including US brand Lauren B. My pedicure was with Emilia, who really looked after me and made me feel very relaxed and comfortable downstairs where the nail area is. I loved the decor, the blush pink high back chairs look great and are comfy to just lie back in and there is a lovely friendly atmosphere in the salon. It’s very spacious with a well thought out layout and beautifully decorated, stripped back brick walls with plush furnishings, you will want to move in here too. As soon as I put up my first instagram my friends who work locally all said it has become their favourite local and it’s been added to my list too.
Check out their Stories Blog, which shines a light on conversations that usually take place within a salon – and tells us of their story about their journey to DryBy (and also has some nice feel-good articles in there, too).
