We all have our preferences when it comes to lipstick textures here at Beauty and the Dirt – I for one, am the matte / liquid lipstick obsessive. Any that come through this door I am all over. So when the new NYX Liquid Suede Lipsticks arrived for me to try out, they were basically on within about 10 seconds.
They are just as densely pigmented as you expect they would be; one coat and you’re good to go. No need for liner either as the applicator coats on the product right up to the edges to give a defined lip line.
They feel a little differently to what I was expecting – more moisturising, they even keep a little tackiness, but in a good way. They contain Avocado Oil and Vitamin E so no drying or dehydrating the lips.

I swatched the colours first – which I should add were tough to get off my hands after I took this photo. Good sign so far. These three colours are completely different to one another, and each contained crazy amounts of pigment, which I love.
Sandstorm (the middle) is said to be a dupe of the Kylie Jenner Lip Kit in Dolce K – so if you are the majority that didn’t manage to get your hands on one of those, go for this colour..

For a lovely £6.50 they are oh-so worth it. The product is big in size as you can see, so you’re getting a good amount for a great price. I for one am pretty happy that NYX is slowly making its full way into the UK…
Watch a little demo below to see how I got on with these lippies.
