This week’s 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards brought out the most prominent and upcoming celebrities and designers to the red carpet in New York City. The Council of Fashion Designers of America showcased the leading fashion, jewellery and accessory designers of the year with big winners – Joseph Altuzarra, Public School and The Row. Raf Simons for Dior was commemorated with the International Award and Tom Ford received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Rihanna showed up in a sheer pink mesh made of more than 230,000 Swarovski crystals. The 2014 Fashion Icon of the Year winner left little to the imagination in the custom designed gown by Adam Selman.
