What better way to celebrate your birthday than by landing a role in a Hollywood movie? Rita Ora is sure to be having a very happy 22nd birthday today, as she’s rumoured to be starring in the blockbuster franchise The Fast And The Furious 6 alongside Vin Diesel and The Rock. We don’t know much about the plot other than there are sure to be plenty of fast, sporty cars, a booming soundtrack and that Rita is set to play a villain – we can so see her rocking the bad girl image.
On top of all this, it seems Rita also stole the role out from under Rihanna‘s nose. A source told The Sun, “Rihanna impressed movie bosses with her role in Battleship. But schedules didn’t work out and Rita really shone during castings. They loved her look and her attitude”.
It also seems the two singers aren’t on the best of terms, with Rita’s style resembling Rihanna’s more and more everyday. “At first Rihanna thought Rita’s ‘copycat’ act was sweet,” says The Sun‘s source. “But she kicked off after seeing the red dress Rita wore to the VMAs. The umbrella prop annoyed her too”. We can share in RiRi’s dislike for others copycatting our wardrobes, but we have to admit that Rita really rocked that red Marchesa gown at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
