Roland Mouret is returning to London Fashion Week! After ten years of showing his collections in Paris, the designer is coming back to the city where he first debuted himself as a designer nearly twenty years ago. Mouret will be showing his Autumn/Winter 2017 collection in February, and this is only the beginning of his year-long celebration of two decades in the fashion industry.

Since its start, Mouret’s brand of womenswear has earned him the nickname “Master of the Silhouette,” due to his collections highlighting the most flattering feminine form. My personal favorite from his newest arrivals: the Lambert Top, a simple black tank top with a lingerie-inspired sheer back. The model may be wearing a skirt and strappy heels, but I could definitely see myself wearing this with black leather pants and a pair of equally cool wedges.

Mouret operates a wholesale network that spans over 38 countries and almost 200 locations worldwide, with retail flagships on London’s Mount Street and New York’s Madison Ave, not to mention a franchise in Dubai Mall, UAE. Mouret’s website has experienced exponential growth, and is not surprisingly expected to become the brand’s largest retail door by the end of 2017.

“We look forward to the year ahead in London as an incredible opportunity to not only celebrate the history of the brand and Roland’s journey, but also as an opportunity to engage further with our customer and the industry in a key piece of storytelling with hopefully a few surprises along the way.”, says Roland Mouret’s CEO Mark Langthorne.
The Roland Mouret fashion brand is a joint venture between Roland Mouret and Simon Fuller’s XIX entertainment.
