I’ve been trying out new organic Australian skin care brand RosehipPlus for the past couple of weeks and I have to say, it has been very gentle on my skin. The story behind the brand is pretty interesting. Rosehip Oil is a big trend in Europe at the moment, but in Australia, rosehip oil was not something people were familiar with, so RosehipPlus was born and introduced this oil packed with Vitamin C goodness to Australians.
I’ve been trying out their cream cleanser bothmornings and evenings. If you’re looking for a gentle cleanser, this is the one for you. It’s super hydrating on the skin and as I do suffer from dry patches of skin around my chin and jawline. I do find that I need to use a flannel with it to exfoliate off any dry skin and it doesn’t really do that on its own, but it is very hydrating so my skin isn’t left feeling thirsty after use.

I find that using oils on my skin isn’t great because it clogs up my pores so instead of trying out the Rosehip Oil, I opted for the Hydrating Day Cream. Again, this organic concoction is very gentle on the skin. I use it mornings before I apply my makeup, massaging into the skin using circular motions. I do try to avoid my eyes because the scent is quite strong and it can be slightly irritating. For an organic brand, I think a strong scent can be a little bit off-putting as I do like more subtle fragrance or no fragrance in skincare products. Apart from that, the cream felt lovely on my skin.
