I noticed bottles of hair perfume in the Serge Normant at John Frieda LA salon. It is Serge Normant’s own brand and it works for body and hair.
It smells of musky luxury, as you’d expect from the man who tousles the tresses of Julia Roberts and Julianne Moore. It has a fine texture and makes no textural difference to hair.
I’m a big fan of hair perfume and I had been using the Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle hair perfume. I love the smell. It stops people in their tracks. It does leave a slight greasiness to the hair though which the Serge Normant product does not.
In the Serge Normant range he does a spectacular dry shampoo which acts not only as a cleanser but as a root lift and volumiser. It doesn’t tell you it does that but all the stylists at John Frieda use it for styling purposes. It’s a hero product.
