We are floored by Selena Gomez’s U.S. Vogue cover, as if we expected anything else. She stuns in a pink and red floral bralet and matching high-waisted skirt. The actress/singer holds her hair up, revealing large, gold hoop earrings, next to the glossy words “Cool, Candid, Courageous Selena gets real.”
This is Selena’s first American Vogue cover, which was shot by celebrity photographer Mert Atlas (a Kardashian favorite). Kitted out in Coach, in another photo in the spread, Selena is shot wearing a red leather jacket with butterfly and flower decals, intricate leather bracelets, the same gold hoops, black silk floral short shorts and slicked back shoulder-length hair. One of our favorite looks from the spread has Gomez in a green jumpsuit with orange, pink, purple and white flowers all over. Strategic cut-outs expose her stomach and sides. The earrings and hair remain the same in all the photos.
In the story, we know Gomez addresses fatigue, mental health, and stepping back into the limelight after a hiatus due to her Lupus diagnosis. We’re very curious to see what she says about her tightlipped relationship with R&B singer The Weeknd, and perhaps her friendships with the likes of Taylor Swift.
