I love wearing sportswear pretty much every day if I can get away with it, I top track-pants with a jacket to smarten myself up for meetings. Business at the top, party at the bottom and with so many designer sneakers in the shops we are used to seeing any outfit work with a good pair of trainers.
If you want to really work a track pant outside the yoga studio, look no further than these beauties from Gucci. I do feel height is necessary for these though. I love them to look at but know I could not pull these off, if you can, please buy them. I live in my Sweaty Betty tracksuit bottoms and feel a bit annoyed if I have to put jeans on now, I think I am getting to an age where comfort really rules over fashion. I do think it’s how you wear them and looking for a slimmer fit and good fabric makes all the difference on the style stakes.
Gucci Striped Jersey Track-pants
Available at Net-a-Porter
This pair of more fitted pants by Gucci however are perfect and I do need these in my life, if I didn’t have to look at the price tag, I can imagine so many outfits options with these. I have been obsessing over a pair I saw on someone last year, they made her look like Wonder Woman and the pieces in the new season collection are just as covetable.
More Gucci Stripe Jersey Pants with a crop, adore these, also available in a classic green with red stripe.
Fendi has some super stylish sportswear this season too, if you are investing in tracksuits this year instead of a work-wear look how cool this suit looks.
Fendi Roma Trackpants with a velvet trim
These Rhythm Merino pants from Sweaty Betty, aka rhythm is a dancer if you need to remember what they are called, are the comfiest loungers, ideal for travel and Sundays. Made from the softest merino wool, a slim fit leg and rose gold zips and trim, very hard to take these off. If you are buying online, size down they do come up quite big.
