I seem to be in the Benefit store with increasing regularity. It used to be that I’d just get my brows waxed, now they get tinted, they get their own special make up bag – a full collection of highlighter, pencils and Gimme Brow thickening gel.
I’m totally seduced by Benefit. I find wherever there’s a Benefit store it’s always in a place with a few other shopping favourites so I simply cannot walk past without checking it out. And unfortunately for me there’s always an excuse. I lost my make-up bag, I must buy more and more.
Benefit Big Sexy Eye Kit
There’s always a new must have product. My latest obsession is with Big Sexy Eye Kit. It comes in a tin which I like, (I’m useless with plastic packaging) and three double shades and a pom pom of an applicator. The double shades are called Beyond Nude, Naughty Neutral and Bombshell Brown. They’re perfectly paired neutral eyeshadow duos and the custom shadow blender means even an idiot can apply it. You swoop it across the colour with either the dark shade at the base of the eye, the light in the socket or the other way round. Slide and sweep. It’s very easy and very fast.
My favourite is the Bombshell Brown because it’s the deepest. I’m all for saving time and doing make up in seconds rather than minutes, in the back of a taxi if necessary and this takes ten seconds for the perfect smoky eye. And what’s even better is it lasts.
