Taking the lead in the fake tan race is currently Bondi Sands. Why? Because every time I use it, I am always so impressed with its results! Bondi Sands is so reasonably priced, and performs so well. It’s definitely worth a try if you haven’t already.
First off, I am going to start by saying the Self Tanning Foam is the one. If you want a fake tan that will actually look like you’ve spent two weeks in the South of France – this will give you that. Even with one application. If you also want a fake tan that won’t make you look like a stripy zebra – this is the one too. Streak free, nice brown shade and it lasts. I currently have it on and I’m sitting here looking at my brown arms and it’s delightful. I havent even been away on holiday this year yet. No one would never know.
Simply pump onto your tanning mitt and buff into the skin in circular motions. It is brown in colour so you can see if you’re blending it in evenly – which is so good. No surprise streaks!
I adore the Gradual Tanning Milk – I personally use this as a top-up for my fake tan in between showering and applying another coat of Tanning Foam – as this isn’t dark enough for me to use alone. But is it the perfect product to keep your tan looking brown, or for a hint of bronze on paler skin tones, and it keeps your skin moisturised, soft and smelling great. Simply smother on all over, you won’t see it straight away as this milky formula develops over the next few hours. Wash hands after use.
New on the market is the Liquid Gold Self Tanning Dry Oil – which I was obviously VERY keen to try out. Self tanning oil is a revelation. All you want to do is oil yourself up when you’re tanned right? Most fake tans would go streaky if you were to do so, so this is a wonderful 2-in-1 product to try if you’re wearing your bardot dress and want a glowy, bronzed décolletage, arms and shoulders.
It is infused with Argan Oil and drenched with their signature coconut scent; you basically can’t get more summery than this! Simply apply with a mitt for even coverage, and this develops over 2-3 hours. No washing off required.
