BHS have a new addition to their in-store makeup range; Live Love London and we got to sample a little try (and play with) their shadow palettes. Ranging from blush to bronzer & highlight to a whopping 18-shade eyeshadow palette and we must add we were quite impressed with their range of colours and the quality of the pigments.
Live Love London come at affordable prices, a single blusher comes at just £1.50! And their palettes are around £6.75. Good shadows at a great price, in a nice selection of colours to pick from. We are big fans of having the nice big mirror in there too. What more would you want?
Here are the palettes we got our hands on, and got all over my hands too…
These 6 shade palettes are a big size, so certainly as far as value goes – it’s fab. The pigments are soft, and buildable for subtle to strong. A very girly and pink selection of shades with the range of matte-ish to full shimmer. We like this one.
This one is my favourite – all of the powders are super shimmery and soft, it’s just a pleasure to look at! The selection boasts some great golden and bronze glimmers for super glowy cheeks.
Neutral shades galore, from nudes, warm browns, grey blues, to pinks and purples. Need I say more? Countless looks all in one palette. Mostly pearl shadows with a few mattes thrown in there too. You get a little sleek double ended brush to aid your makeup-ing. Sleek and great to pack for travel if you like a little to choose from for day to night.
The pigments show up densely on the skin if you pack them on or blend out for a soft finish with a fluffier brush. Really lovely.
