We’ve spotted that The Hollywood Reporter has released their special The Power of Beauty issue this month – and we so love a beauty issue!
This will be the fourth year that The Hollywood Reporter has put together their annual beauty edition, getting together the best beauty moments from the year from Hollywood’s biggest stars along with the gurus that glammed them up.
We like to get the ins and outs of what the process is of makeup looks, and all the secrets behind the creations; and THR has covered some great stories that also reveal the relationship between the makeup artist and the celebrities themselves… and we are loving reading about some of the close friendships that have formed behind the scenes.

Thanks to her beauty team for her confident looks – although it isn’t all plain sailing. Despite her flawless appearance Nyong’o and her team face nerves just like the rest of us.

Reese Witherspoon’s Friendship with Makeup Artist Molly R. Stern Began With a Leather Pants Fiasco
As all good friendships – there’s a funny story to how they started. This is the case for Reece Witherspoon and her makeup artist Molly Stern, with a rather funny styling moment that bought them so close. There’s a video of the duo describing the ‘fiasco’ and Reece lets slip a couple of secrets and (this is our best part) how Molly makes her feel like her ageing is beautiful. Amen.
