Unlike fashion seasons, when it comes to the home it’s not quite as easy to apply the ‘out with the old, in with the new’ maxim come spring. Instead, once we’ve banished the never-again-to-be-worn pieces to the charity shop and ensured every nook and cranny has been thoroughly cleansed and aired we’ll be filling our homes with the new Home Collection from Jo Malone.

Nothing encapsulates the scent of Spring quite like the Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia fragrance. There’s the juicy fresh crispness captured by the smell of just-ripe pears, the floral bouquet of white freesias and then the subtle, lush undertones of amber, patchouli and woods.
It may have been inspired by verses from Keats’ Ode To Autumn, but for me, English Pear and Freesia is the scent of Spring bottled. Or, in the case of the new Home Collection, imbued within Scent Surround hangers, drawer liners, sachets, room sprays and diffusers.

Subtle. The scent permeates every time you pull out your lingerie, grab your trenchcoat or simply enter a room this season.
