Beauty connoisseurs rejoice at the news that New York-based pro nail stylist, Jin Soon Choi is, finally, launching her very own line. A regular backstage at the fashion shows, ad campaigns and glossy editorials, after her nail colour collaboration with MAC last year, it was only a matter of time before the talented talon-ista bottled her own polishes.
The line, named JINsoon, consists of two core collections, The Quintessential and the A La Mode. Pretty simple. The former featuring your classic manicure must-haves, nudes, blacks, a perfect red etc. and then the latter, focussing on creating trend-led tips.
What we love the most however, in a vein similar to that of the OPI brand, is that Choi has reached out to her model mates to name the polishes. It’s a move that we hope will knock Tom Ford’s Bitch polish off its royal purple throne as Coco Rocha named the smoky blue polish, Rhapsody, Jamie Bochert the hint-of-purple-grey, Auspicious and Karlie Kloss, the hazy purple Debonair.
The Jin Soon range is set to hit SpaceNK and Sephora in September, and we’re hoping the UK launch won’t be far behind.
