Taylor Swift turns model as the subject of a new fashion photo book 8 Hours/Taylor Swift, that will give a look into a day in the life of a seemingly girl-next-door singer/songwriter. We have to admit we are intrigued by Swift’s combo of a squeaky clean country girl image, soaring chart topping hits, and a large collection of celeb ex-boyfriends. With this in mind our interest is piqued as to what sort of look into Swift’s life the new photo book will give.
However, it sounds like Taylor Swift is in capable hands for her first fashion book, with America’s Next Top Model judge Nigel Barker being the one who spent the said 8 hours snapping photo after photo of the singer. According to Barker, the book may not be what you’d expect from the sweet American girl, as he attempted to capture her sexy side in the shots.
“She’s not necessarily known for her sex appeal,” Barker told Entertainment Weekly, “but she is someone who is emerging in a way that I’ve never seen. You’ll see her transform from a young girl into this rock and roll superstar, totally in your face. It’s unbelievable how she’s changed and, of course, how the music is changing and evolving. She’s one to watch”.
The photo book is set to be very limited edition and will be on sale exclusively in United States’ Sony stores for a short period beginning on November 12.There are no plans to release it in the UK just yet, so it sounds like we might have to sweet talk some of our American friends into securing us a copy.
