The AMAs that took place this weekend may be the first music awards show this year that didn’t involve any Miley Cyrus themed controversy, and that deserves a headline in itself. Instead it featured a petite and toned Christina Aguilera who has planted herself firmly back on the music industry’s map, a slicked back in black Rihanna, four time AMA award winner Taylor Swift dazzling in a sparkling gold Julien Macdonald number, Lady Gaga posing as though her life depended on it on the back of an abstract steed. Katy Perry transformed the stage into a Geisha wonderland, Kendall and Kylie Jenner hit the red carpet for their first ever AMA outing, and of course our very own One Direction Boys took to the AMA stage, but not before Emma Roberts had managed to snap a selfie with each tousled haired band member.
