The Best Easter Eggs

March 25, 2013

With Easter just around the corner, we’ve finally come down for our sugar high (yes, chocolate tasting is work) to bring you our round up of the best Easter eggs,

Starting with this hugely decadent piece of egg-art courtesy of Pierre Herme.

The moulded Oeuf Galets egg is made with Pure Origin Peru dark chocolate, presented on a chocolate base and decorated with various flavoured Galets.

Pierre Herme Oeuf Galets £89 from Pierreherme.com or the London boutique, 13 Lowndes Street.

Rococo Day of the Dead Egg

In a welcome departure from floppy-eared bunnies and fluffy bunnies, we love Rococo’s vibrantly hand painted chocolate eggs with white chocolate shell inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead traditions.

Harvey Nichols Dark Chocolate Egg

For those who like their chocolate free of frills, Harvey Nichols’ range of simple and delicious Dark Chocolate Easter Eggs are sure to hit the sugar-spot.

We love this rather wonderful selection of Belgium chocolate Easter eggs available in white, milk and dark chocolate with a selection of delicious fillings.

Waitrose White, Milk and Dark chocolate eggs from £6.99, Waitrose.com

A handmade pink chocolate shell houses some of Fortnum & Mason’s most decadent truffles, each infused with marc de Champagne.
